What does stump removal cost in eastern Iowa?
The honest answer is: it depends on the stump. But you can get a solid ballpark before anyone visits, and we like being upfront about it.
Most stump grinding is priced per inch of diameter, measured at the widest point above ground including the root flare. Our rate starts at $7.00 per inch, with a $200 minimum on any job.
Add-ons change the total. Deep grinding (for planting or building) adds a bit per inch, full cleanup and haul-away adds more, and topsoil restoration adds more still. For lots of stumps, our half-day and full-day packages are usually the best value.
